FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need a web site? - The answer to this is up to you, but if you have a business a few benefits of a web site are:

a) COST:

Cost is of prime importance in any business. Setting up a website is one of the cheapest forms of media promotions. Consider the alternatives: Newspapers charge a sizeable amount for limited space. Television is a good media, but the rates are very costly. By comparison, a Website can be developed at a low cost, and yet give you ample space to showcase Your company and its services.

b) TIME:

Imagine paying for a Newspaper space or a TV slot- the ad runs for a day (in the newspaper) or a few seconds (on the Television). Now compare this with Your Website, which is on the Internet for 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

c) REACH:

Reach is an important factor for any promotion. With a Website, You can have the whole world as Your audience

How do you keep your prices so low? - There are a number of reasons our prices are significantly less than our competitors. While we don't cut corners on quality we do save money on our office space. We are not paying for harbour views or downtown offices. All our projects are carried out by our team of professionals on a per project basis. No-one is on salary, so if they aren't working on your site they aren't being paid. We have found this is the best way to ensure quality at an affordable price. It is in our teams best interest to produce the best in order to get repeat business. We then pass the savings onto you!

How long does it take? - All our sites are individually created and are NOT produced from cookie cut out templates. Since each site is uniquely generated they do take time to prepare. From the initial contact to completion a site will usually take 2 - 4 weeks. The time allowed for completion varies depending on the type of site requested. Some sites may take less time but as a rule of thumb, allow up to one month.

What are the payment methods? - We accept all major credit cards as well as business and personal cheques. Payment is the 50-25-25 method. This means 50% is paid at the start of the project. 25% is due once the initial site is produced for you to look at and we carry out any reworking you may require. The final 25% is required immediately before your site is finally uploaded and goes 'live'. For our Complete Package Plan clients we also offer the option of time payments.
